Co-Head Coaches Travis Fox and Dave Snell
The Shoreline Community College baseball team will head into the 2014 season with tandem of Dave Snell and Travis Fox sharing the head coaching duties.
Head Coach Snell
Coach Snell was previously an assistant coach at Shoreline. As a Shoreline resident, Snell has been coaching in the Seattle area for many years. In 2005 he founded the Seattle Select Baseball program.
Snell was a high-school star at Ingraham and was drafted as a pitcher by the San Francisco Giants.He signed with the Kansas City Royals in 1983 and played in the Seattle Mariners minor League system. His son, Blake, was drafted in 2011 by the Tampa Bay Rays after playing for Shorewood High School.
Head Coach Fox
Coach Fox is also moving up from an assistant position at Shoreline. He brings 12 years of experience as a player and coach with the past three years as an assistant at Shoreline.
Fox is a product of Western Oregon University where as a player he was part of two GNAC championship teams. After college Fox spent two seasons playing in Australia; one season in association with the ABLs Adelaide Bite. Fox coached four high school summer seasons with the Spokane Northstars and the Mudville Pinnacle of the Seattle area.
