Biographies

Coach Snell is a Shoreline resident and has been coaching in the Seattle area for many years. In 2005 he founded the Seattle Select Baseball program.

 

Snell was a high-school star at Ingraham and was drafted as a pitcher by the San Francisco Giants.He signed with the Kansas City Royals in 1983 and played in the Seattle Mariners minor League system. His son, Blake, was drafted in 2011 by the Tampa Bay Rays after playing for Shorewood High School.

 

 

 

Coach Redmond joins the Dolphin coaching staff in his first season as the infield coach. He comes to Shoreline from Syracuse, NY.  Redmond graduated from Le Moyne College with a Master's Degree in Professional Education in 2014.

 

Redmond's previous coaching stops include a season a piece for the Sherrill Silversmiths of the NYCBL, the Onondaga Community College Lazers, and the Aldie Senators of the Shenandoah Valley League. He served as the infield and hitting coach for all three programs. On the diamond, Redmond was a three year starter in the infield at Le Moyne.

 

 

 Coach Teegarden returns for his second stint on staff at Shoreline after a year as a graduate assistant at the University of Washington.  While on staff at UW Coach Teegarden worked very closely with the Husky hitters and coach Donegal Fergus. Although injuries limited his playing career, coach Teegarden has been coaching at the college level for the last four years. 

 

Outside of the Dolphins program he is the Assistant Head Coach for Toyota, an 18u program ran on the Eastside.  Coach Teegarden will be receiving his Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from the University of Washington in the spring of 2015.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Coach Baker joins the Dolphin staff in his first season.  He is a local graduate of South Whidbey Island High School and went on to play at Simpson College in  Indianola, Iowa, where he played first and third base.  He has his Bachelor's in Communications and is currently enrolled at the Unversity of Washington.
