Baseball Head Coach
Coach Snell is a Shoreline resident and has been coaching in the Seattle area for many years. In 2005 he founded the Seattle Select Baseball program.
Snell was a high-school star at Ingraham and was drafted as a pitcher by the San Francisco Giants. He signed with the Kansas City Royals in 1983 and played in the Seattle Mariners minor League system. His son, Blake, was drafted in 2011 by the Tampa Bay Rays after playing for Shorewood High School.
Snell takes over the Shoreline Baseball program after four years as the Associate Head Coach and Pitching Coach. He was a member of the 2015 staff that led Shoreline Baseball to their first playoff appearance since 1979.
