IS CEO DIFFERENT FROM HIGH SCHOOL?

Yes! CEO provides students with a fresh start at their education, in a college environment. Students choose the career major of their choice. Successful CEO students are able to attend regularly and are motivated to make school a high priority.

WILL I GET MY GED WHILE ENROLLED IN CEO?

CEO is designed to provide students an opportunity to work towards a college certificate or associate degree from Shoreline Community College while earning credits toward a high school diploma. While enrolled as a CEO student, you may also work toward a GED but it is not a requirement.

WHAT IF I ALREADY HAVE A GED?

You are still permitted to enter the CEO program even if you have already earned your GED.  You may not enroll in the program if you have graduated from high school.

WHAT TYPES OF PROGRAMS CAN I GET MY CERTIFICATE OR DEGREE IN?

CEO students may work toward a certificate or degree in one of several professional - technical programs offered through SCC. These degrees are designed to prepare you to successfully enter the world of work. Check out the options!
