Tegrity is a lecture capture system that is integrated into Blackboard and allows you to record what is on your computer screen, with audio and video.
For an introduction to Tegrity, view sample Tegrity recordings.
Additional information is also available on Using Tegrity.
Get a microphone
Your Dean or boss should have an Elluminate headset for you that has a built in microphone. Make sure they give you a USB adaptor so you can just plug the headset into your USB port on your computer and use. Headsets also are available in the Library Media/Circulation area and can be checked out for a quarter. Headsets are available for purchase in the SCC Bookstore for a nominal cost.
(Optional) Get a web cam
A limited number of web cams are available in the Library Media/Circulation area and can be checked out for a quarter.
