Math 098: Homework

Homework will be assigned through MyMathLab (MML) on a weekly basis and will be due most Mondays at midnight (unless otherwise indicated). You will need to register for my MML Math 098 course at http://www.pearsonmylabandmastering.com/northamerica/mymathlab/.  The course ID for my MML course is hurley62806.  You will need both my course ID and a registration code that comes with the text you purchased.  Here is a step-by-step student registration instruction sheet.  If you would like to check out the MML course before paying for it, look for the link in the registration process that says "temporary access".  This should give you access to MML for about 2-3 weeks before you have to pay for it.

When doing HW in MML, you will be given (in general) three tries to complete a question correctly.  After three tries, MML will give you the correct answer.  If you then click on "similar exercise", you will be given a new (but very similar) problem to try again, with another three tries to get it correct.  You can continue clicking on "similar exercise" as many times as you would like.  As long as you eventually complete the problem correctly, you will be given FULL CREDIT for the problem.

Here is a general listing of sections that will be covered and their HW due dates.  Of course, I reserve the right to change this at any time.
