The Global Affairs Center at Shoreline Community College is a non-partisan organization whose mission is to encourage critical thinking and engagement on global issues such as humanitarian assistance, development, the environment and commerce.  We hope that our programs lead to sustained personal involvement in global affairs.

DronesStudent Debate: "Drone Use at Home and Abroad"

This is a student debate on the pros and cons of the expanding use of drones both domestically and internationally by corporations, as well as local and national governments. Drones promise enhanced security to some but at the cost of privacy, personal security and sovereignty to others.
