The 100 point
streak is over, as SCC Men's Basketball dropped a 94-72 game to the Community
Colleges of Spokane on Saturday in Spokane. SCC had scored over 100 points
(over 107 to be exact) in their first 5 games this year, but not on Saturday
Shoreline managed only 36 points in both halves and shot only
40% from the floor, including only 2-12 from three point range. SCC was out
rebounded 50-38 as second shots were hard to come by.
Jesse Vaughan led SCC again with 16 points, but off his 28
point average going into the game. Reuben Donaldson and Ryan Osborne added 10
each for the Dolphins as well.
SCC plays Yakima Valley CC today at 1:00 PM in the third
place game of the CC of Spokane Tournament. Spokane faces North Idaho in the
finals. SCC is 4-2 on the season while YVCC is 3-2. Spokane moves to 5-0.
