Spindrift is Shoreline Community College's own award-winning art and literary journal, showcasing the quality of our students’ work.

The journal is designed and compiled in the Visual Arts Center by a team of students who solicit submissions from December to January. A Jury Show is held each February in the Visual Arts Center Gallery to invite votes from students, faculty and others which aid in selection for publication.

Most recently, Spindrift Art & Literary Journal 2017 won CCHA (Community College Humanities Association) for Small Colleges:

  • 1st Place, Pacific-Western Division
  • 2nd Place Nationwide

Several individual entries, including music, poetry & photography also received individual awards.

Submissions are digital only.
